Fire officials are investigating the cause of a Wednesday morning structure fire in the Hawaiian Shores subdivision of Pahoa that caused $150,000 in damage.
Called at 11:15 a.m. to the scene on Maiko Street, Hawaii Fire Department firefighters found flames and heavy smoke coming from the front of the 1,056-square-foot structure. Firefighters extinguished the blaze within 20 minutes of their arrival.
No one was injured, the department said.
